Kinetic Sculpture
This project explores the transformation of static design into dynamic motion, imagining how architectural and lamp-inspired forms can come alive through movement. The structure’s “petals” interact with one another, responding to the underlying geometry to create a fluid, orchestrated system where each element contributes to the overall motion.
The animation is driven by rigid body dynamics, allowing the components to react organically to the forces within the structure. This setup produces lifelike interactions and emergent behavior, revealing complex patterns and subtle rhythms that would be difficult to achieve with hand animation alone. The result is a harmonious balance between controlled design intent and natural, responsive motion.
