IBM Intelligent Building
The IBM Headquarters in Munich is a forward-looking building, integrating advanced technologies that showcase the possibilities for future architecture. As part of a permanent on-site installation, key aspects of this technology were visualized graphically and projected onto a scaled-down model of the building, accompanied by a voiceover explaining their function.
This was a fully interactive piece: motion sensors were programmed to trigger different graphical elements in response to viewer interactions, allowing the audience to engage directly with the technology. My role was to interpret these complex systems into a clear, intuitive graphic language, ensuring consistency with the visual style developed for the broader project. The installation communicates advanced innovation in an immersive, design-led way, making the building’s technology both understandable and visually compelling.
