Kinetic Sculpture

Taking inspiration from lamp design and architecture, I wished to create a Kintetic like animation. Using rigid body dynamics all the “petals” would interact with eachother yet follow the motion of the overall structure. A setup that gives a lot of potential and interesting outcomes as by animating this by hand would be close to impossible, or at least painstaking.
